Migratory Bird Monitoring
Are you an avid bird watcher? Do migratory birds fascinate you? Take advantage of a unique opportunity to visit our community to observe the White-Crowned Sparrow (Zonotrichia leucophrys)—never before seen in Costa Rica, as well as other migratory and endemic bird species that call Rancho Quemado home. On a tour that takes you around the community, the visitor will observe this new bird, have a chance to learn about the work of the biological monitoring that a group of locals are doing, and learn about the flora and fauna species found here. A portion of the funds go to supporting the Biological Monitoring Comittee and Integral Development Association of Rancho Quemado
Group Rate (+4 people): $74
