Communal Works
The Integral Development Association of Rancho Quemado (ADIRQ) was established on November 11, 1989. Since then, it has managed numerous projects that have transformed the community.

Projects before 2012
- Opening of road from Vanegas to RQ
- Construction of a Catholic temple
- Construction of an old communal hall
- Construction of the school
- Construction of ancient tucan bridge over Riyito river
- Construction of the former police delegation
- Construction of the square
- Construction of aqueduct
- Request for electricity, was achieved in 2003
- Construction of medical visits house
- Construction of sport kitchen
- Construction of old stands and benches around the square.

- Management of various trainings with INA, UCR, INAMU and others.
- Design and construction of the Osa trail, services and parking.
- Lighting of the sports plaza
- Marketing and promotion of the chain of rural tourism ADIRQ
- Construction of Library and meeting room ADIRQ
- Construction of ADIRQ warehouse
- Construction of basketball court, dressing rooms, roofing, lighting, kitchen and bleachers (multipurpose room)
- Construction of a new bridge over the river Riyito
- Placement of perimeter mesh of the sports arena

- ICT tourist declaration for ADIRQ as a receptive travel agency “Corazón de osa”

Lighting of the Sports Plaza
Project to install lighting at the Rancho Quemado sports plaza, managed through ICE.
Construction of ADIRQ Library and Meeting Room
Community library and meeting room for the Integral Development Association.
Covered Basketball Court and Multi-Purpose Hall
Construction of basketball court, locker rooms, roofing, lighting, kitchen and bleachers.
Construction of New Bridge over Río Riyito
New bridge that replaced the old log structure over the Riyito river.
Sensory Path (Stage I)
Trail designed for environmental education and sensory experience for visitors.
Biological Monitoring Nursery
Nursery for the propagation of endemic and threatened species of the area.
Biological Monitoring Committee
A group of 8 locals trained by MINAET to monitor the flora and fauna of Rancho Quemado.
