The founder and owner, Sandro Cambronero, has over 10 years of experience as a tour guide in Drake Bay, leading tours to Caño Island, Corcovado, and various hikes around the peninsula. Horseback Riding to Las Minas Gold Tour
Horseback tour from Rancho Quemado to Las Minas gold tour – the site where the first gold miners arrived on the Osa Peninsula. Here you will learn the history of the Osa Peninsula, Rancho Quemado, and will be able to ´try your luck´ mining gold artesanally, just like the used to do it in the old days.
$60 for two people, $55 for three or more. Includes horses, typical Costa Rican snacks, guide, and entrance fo the mine. Tour takes approximately 5 hours.

Jungle Hikes of Various Levels
Hiking trails between 1 and 3 kilometers with different ranges of difficulty. Level one: 2 hours. Level two: four hours. Level three: 5-6 hours.
In these tours, you could see various types of tropical birds, mammals, monkeys, tapirs, and can swim in a rio. In the level three hike, you will need to climb one of the highest hills in Corcovado, around 400m. In this tour there is a greater chance of seeing bigger mammals like the puma or wild boars, tapirs, and more.

A night hike in the jungle where one can see various species of snakes, nocturnal frogs, tropical insects, birds, and more. This tour allows you to observe a completely different yet vibrant world to what you are used to.
Level one: 2 hours - $25. Level two: 2 hours - $35. In the level two tour, there is a better chance to see more animals.

Poison Dart Frog Tour
Here in the gold mine´s hiking trail, you will be able to observe all kinds of poision dart frogs. Don´t worry, they´re not dangerous to humans unless eaten. Red, blue, and green and black frogs are just some of the unique animals that you will see, some which are endemic to the Golfo Dulce. Again, something only available in the tropics. $25 per person . Tour lasts 2.5 hours

Cultural Tour – tour a traditional milk farm and sugarcane mill. Here you will be able to milk cows, herd cattle, as well as experience an artisanal sugarcane mill which uses sugarcane to produce various drinks and candies just like the did in the old days.
Cost is $50 per person and takes about 6-8 hours.

Tour of the Indigenous Reserve Guaymi
Here we offer an adventure tour through the forests on the border of the Corcovado National Park to an indigenous reserve. The hike is 3 nights and 4 days. The first day we will walk about 6 hours and stay in a rustic cabin in the middle of the jungle. The next day we arrive at Guaymi where we will share and learn their customs, history, culture, and language of this tribe which still maintains many of its pre-Columbian traditions. The third day the option is yours. Head home to Rancho or visit Sirena station in Corcovado National Park.
Cost - $100 per person with everything included – food, guide, transportation and entrance to the park.
Tour of Laguna Chocuaco:
Tour of the famous laguna in Rancho Quemado. After a 1km hike via trail where the visitor will be able to see various medicinal and indigenous plants. From here, you will get into a canoe and head to the laguna. Along the way you will be able to see nests of various reptiles and birds. Upon reaching the laguna, the most scenic location in Rancho Quemado, you will be able to relax and fish for tilapia if desired. Water and snacks will be provided for your refreshment.
Cost - $50 and it lasts about 4 hours. Includes local guide, tour, and food.
Tours around the Peninsula
Horseback riding to a waterfall in Drake Bay:
Horseback riding on the road from Rancho to Drake Bay which takes you to a local family and their incredible waterfall. This is a waterfall only locals know about and you will not see it advertised at the hotels There is also the possibility to see poison dart frogs while on the tour.
Cost: $40 and it lasts about 5 hours. Can include lunch if desired.
Floating the river tour:
Full day tour after an hour hike. Once we arrive at the river, the visitor will be able to relax and float in an inner tube or life jacket for 5 km in the cool waters of Rio Claro or Rio Drake until they reach the open sea. Under the Rio Claro option, the visitor will have the opportunity to return to Drake Bay via hiking or boat.
Cost - $35 with Rio Drake option (in tube) and lasts 3 hours. $55 with Rio Claro option and lasts 6 hours (life vest). -

Hike to Rio Claro from Drake to San Josecito Beach
A hike along the coast through a well maintained trail from Drake Bay to San Josecito Beach. The visitor will be able to swim, see various tropical animals, including the white faced monkey, among others. Additionally, upon arriving at Rio Claro, there is the option to take a 2 hour canoe hike into the jungle to see various waterfalls or collaborate in a sea turtle conservation project. There is also a rope swing to enjoy while jumping into the water.
Cost - $40 - walking back the tour takes about 6 hours. Returning by boat it would take 4 hours. Can include lunch if desired.
