To donate to any community-based project, please contact the Integral Development

Don't let Rancho Quemado's sheer size deter you; The town’s got plenty of potential to grow, especially with your help!

A variety of opportunities exist for visitors to volunteer in town, like managing the town’s nature trails, volunteering at the local library, teaching English in the elementary school, painting murals, planning and executing activities for the youth in town, and building infrastructure, just to name a few.

There are currently two projects underway that require support from outside organizations:
  • Building a roof over the town’s basketball court, creating a versatile community space to use year-round. As of now, there is no community center to host events nor meetings. This project is overseen by the Integral Development Association
  • Constructing a trail, welcome center, and classroom to provide widely accessible environmental education to guests. This project is overseen by the Biological Monitoring Committee
The community’s needs are always evolving, so it is important to consult our local tourism operator to see what opportunities are currently available.

*Depending on the type of volunteerism the visitor wishes to partake in, there may be extra costs involved to buy materials for the projects.
