Our HistoryRodríguez Quiroz Family, formed by Mr. Johnny Rodríguez, Noemí Quiroz and his 3 young daughters, Daniela, Rebeca and Jogebet, who were raised in their Rancho Quemado home. The business idea was born with a dream of Don Johnny, who in his childhood was inside a cane plantation. Some decades later his father-in-law, Don Carmen Quiroz (95 years), for health reasons, comes to live in the community and then Johnny comments on his vision and Don Carmen supports him to start this business since years ago he had the experience of having his own sugar mill in Guanacaste, then the dream came true. With training from the UCR and promotion of the RQ development association, Asociación Caminos de Osa, and some other agencies, it has been consolidated as a production and tour enterprise.
